Independent Régence

Independent Brussels ran a 3 year exhibition platform in Brussels called ‘Independent Régence' under the direction of Goedele Bartholomeeusen, that supported the artists and programs of Independent's galleries throughout the year. During that time, galleries selected from Independent's extended network produced exhibitions specifically for the space, giving the galleries and their artists often first time visibility in Belgium, and allowing a deeper connection to the local community of collectors, museum directors, curators and press.
