About the Gallery
VNH Gallery was founded in 2015 by gallerist Victoire de Pourtalès, previously a director at Thaddaeus Ropac, and collector Hélène Nguyen-Ban, the former fashion director of Nina Ricci. The gallery is based in the Marais district of Paris, in the space formerly occupied by Yvon Lambert. Prior to renovating the space, VNH inaugurated their program with a large-scale, site-specific installation by Cameroonian artist Pascale Marthine Tayou that reflected on the space’s symbolic transition from one gallery to another. Emphasizing a highly international and intergenerational program, the gallery exhibits work in all media, producing ambitious exhibitions by artists such as Mircea Cantor, Friedrich Kunath, Leo Gabin, Olivier Mosset, Cy Gavin, Mai-Thu Perret, Gao Weigang, and Michelangelo Pistoletto.
