About the Gallery
Nagel Draxler gallery was founded in Cologne in 1990 and operates in Cologne and Berlin, representing artists such as Kader Attila, Andrea Fraser, Mark Dion, Martha Rosler, Thomas Kilpper, Stephan Dillemuth, Heimo Zobernig, Luke Willis Thompson, a.o.. An emphasis lies on an established generation of artists that has mainly been showing with the gallery since the beginning and whose work has been strongly influential for following generations. The "mid career" artists take part in defining the artistic and political discourses of our times. Finally, with a young generation, comprising artists that sometimes have their first gallery presentation, the gallery meets the challenges of tomorrow.
