About the Gallery
Throughout the last 20 years, Galerie Barbara Thumm has established a distinct programme and realized ambitious installations not only in the gallery but also in various project spaces in Berlin. The gallery programme emphasizes conceptual and representational work, which combines various media and is multifaceted in its artistic strategies.

The gallery works with internationally established artists as well as with younger artists and has accompanied many of the gallery artists since the beginnings of their careers. Most artists of the programme have their main and home representation by the gallery. Jo Baer, Teresa Burga and the estate of Anna Oppermann are represented exclusively by the gallery.
