About the Gallery
Founded in Los Angeles in 2012, Diane Rosenstein Gallery opened her flagship gallery in Hollywood in 2013, with a consistent exhibition program with solo, group, and curated presentations. We opened our new location in Hollywood in Spring, 2026. Our program puts emphasis on the idea that art is an essential tool for living; and that artworks can function as transcendental objects.

Now in our 14th year, Diane Rosenstein has presented over 130 exhibitions and consistently participates in art fairs. The gallery represents and exhibits emerging, mid-career, and established artists, as well artist's estates. We proudly offer surveys that reassess previously uncelebrated artists; and often give influential emerging artists their first solo exhibitions (and often their Los Angeles debuts). Since 2014, we’ve frequently published monographs, catalogues, artist's books, and chapbooks.

About the Presentation
Diane Rosenstein Gallery will present work by Eleanor Antin (USA, b. 1935) in a solo presentation at Independent 20th Century. Antin’s legacy of narrative self-portraiture, performance, and filmmaking has informed subsequent generations of artists including Cindy Sherman and Jenny Holzer to the Guerrilla Girls, Mickalene Thomas, and Andrea Bowers and has challenged themes surrounding identity, gender, autobiography, class and social structures. This presentation includes vintage photographs from the 1960s and 1970s, documentation of performances, sculpture, and historic ephemera.
