​Housed in an architecturally re-purposed former religious building just south of Tate Modern, Copperfield engages with emerging and established artists, focusing on concept lead, multidisciplinary, multi-media practices.

About the presentation
Copperfield’s group presentation will present works by Larry Achiampong, Ada M. Patterson, and Oscar Santillán reflecting on the positive and negative consequences of major technological advances. From the combustion engine to artificial intelligence, new technologies have advanced human wellbeing while simultaneously undermining it. Ranging across painting, film, and textiles, the works on show will move beyond the obvious debates to consider less publicized positions, as in Achiampong’s critique of the gaming industry’s dire lack of diverse representation.
