About the Gallery
Carl Freedman Gallery was founded in 2003 by critic and curator Carl Freedman. The gallery established itself quickly with a critical and curatorially driven program. The gallery represents emerging British and international artists and most typically presents the artist’s first solo presentation in a commercial context. After 14 years in Shoreditch, Carl Freedman Gallery is opening their new space in Margate, Kent in March 2019.
