Over more than two decades, Tsouhlarakis has explored themes related to Native American life while “investigating humor as a form of resilience and cultural preservation for Native American communities,” writes Gabriella Angeleti. The artist reflects on her early inspirations and her belief that, “We use humor to get through what we have to endure.”
