About the Gallery
Patricia Fleming Projects is a Glasgow-based contemporary art gallery committed to showing the work of both emerging and established artists. December 2013 marked the opening of Patricia Fleming Projects, based in a former industrial building in Glasgow’s Merchant City. Since its opening this space has presented new work by artists who have a long association with the gallery, including Jacqueline Donachie, Kevin Hutcheson, David Sherry and Jane Topping, as well as more recently representing artists such as Kate V Robertson, Ilana Halpern and Christine Borland. In addition to the annual exhibition programme, Patricia Fleming Projects initiates artist commissions and public art projects. Over the last ten years Fleming has curated Scotland’s first stand-alone pavilion at the International Architecture Biennale, alongside exhibitions for Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art including ‘The Local’ in 2008, and ‘Everything Flows’ in 2012, co-curated with Caroline Stevenson with artists including Assume Vivid Astro Focus, Sonia Boyce, Katy Dove, Steff Norwood, Superflex, David Shrigley, Rikrit Tiravanija, Sue Tompkins and Toby Paterson.
